I have been friends with them for over a decade, actually closer to 15 years.  The day before yesterday I was able to reconnect with them!!!   I was searching for Anita's email address and finally found it so I could tell them about my trip!  Well...I think I shocked them when I told them that I am seriously considering moving to Israel.  hehehe...So we spent about 2 hours on the phone as I was boring them with what went on....it was so cool picking up where we left off and hearing about what has happened and future hopes and plans.  After a  couple of hours...we were all getting a bit tired...and I had to do my school work for the night...so we ended the call but I will definitely stay in touch with them and will forward them the day by day AARs to them so they can get a good glimpse of our activities. (they already have the pictures)  And I told them about how I got ripped off because my bartering skills are very very weak. LOL

My refinance is done.

My house payment is basically decreasing about 250.00 in total.  YEAH!!!!

School deferment is completed!!!! and approved!

Got my fuel bill and it was the lowest EVER - less than 60.00!!!

Wow...all done before Xmas!

Now tonite I am supposed to go shopping with my boss...All of my xmas shopping is basically done...already!  I do need more candles for Chanukah's so I will pick that up tonite.

Today my information for the Jewish Agency has been mailed!

As I told John I included:

$50.00 money order
4 passport photos
Burial and death certificate for my grandfather.

All of this is sent to the Israel Aliyah Center in Los Angeles.

Now I have no idea what is next other than the need to get my approval number for Nefesh B' Nefesh!

I just really enjoy days like this...

I am not playing the person of juvenile scorn (stolen from Meryl Yourish @yourish.com) at NR for the moment! And when I do..go into that scorn in the Senate most of them are too dense enough to even see that it is scorn. LOL  Well..so be it.   I enjoy it and it amuses me for the most part!

So no NR today really....my school work was mostly done on Saturday! YAY me!!!

So, today consisted if just listening to some dance jams....and cleaning up a bit...now I just have to post feedback for my classes and I am DONE except for laundry. 

I did try to call Lital...(as I said I would Shawn) LOL but I got her voice mail.  At least I had a good chat with Yair a couple of days ago...it's been a while since I talked to him....I always seem to catch him at work!   

Tomorrow is Monday...and it will be a long day of work and then working out with James.  It has been a good weekend overall!!  Especially given that it is before the holidays!

I got the information from my uncle!!!  I hope this meets the requirements for the Jewish Agency!!!! 

He sent me a copy of his death certificate and burial information showing that he is buried in the Jewish Cemetery in Los Angeles.  It even has the plot information!

When we were in California I got a call from my Dr saying they needed to see me because of bloodwork I had taken a couple of weeks earlier.  They were adamant that it had to be set up right away.  So, I had an appt set up on Friday afternoon - I still had to leave work early for the appointment!  But I committed to the appt and made it there.

During that time I went a week stressing out..OK something must be wrong.  It had to be...so over the week I am like Ok they tested thyriod, diabetes...anemia...colhesteroal (sp.)  Basically everything.  So, I am thinking what is wrong...what if I have more than one thing wrong..how bad is it???  So I am at work on Friday and I can barely work - frankly my mind is on the dr. appt.

So I am off to the Dr office...and more waiting.  The Dr is running late so my 1:40 appt gets pushed to almost 2:30!  So I am upset and more anxious.  I finally get in to see her and the result is there is NOTHING WRONG.  I was like WTF..did I have to be there for? At least nothing was wrong!  Clean bills of health are always a good thing!   I just wish they could have told me over the phone instead of me stressing out all week...and then taking off work and then having to pay to see the Dr.!

When I was in LA I had to do a conference call with my loan company about my refinance.  I was told that there was an escrow overage check being cut to me. I assumed it would be like last year around 2k.  It would be enough to pay off a credit card and start putting me back to recovery from the Israel trip and my insane phone bill. LOL  Well it's even better than that!!!! WHOOOO!!!  Between this and the last of my 401k money I would whip off just over 1/2 of my debt and that does not even touch my class income!!!  This is GREAT!!!  YAY me!!!  Maybe by February I can pay my boss back for the use of the Fed Ex account number to fed ex my luggage back!!!

Between lowering my escrow payment in half from about 275 to 140 a month...and lowering my interest in the refi!  I think I will easily save about 300 a month!  AWESOME!!!!  This is going to be outstanding!

Well the short story is that it did not happen.  I drove across Phoenix and made it to the Jewish Center in Greater Phoenix with 15 min to spare.  I get through security but they had NO idea about a workshop by Nefesh B'Nefesh.  I was annoyed to say the least. 

I have already contacted and bitched at Nefesh B'Nefesh about this!  As I really want to attend and there is no way I can go back to LA!

On the bright side my uncle called me tonight and he is going to send me a certified copy of my grandfather's death and a copy of his grave information showing he is buried in a Jewish Cemetery.  That should seal up the requirements for the Jewish Agency and get me my number so I can then apply to Nefesh B'Nefesh.
